As the recession continues to slow economic growth in the U.S., global brands are starting to study global markets to drive revenue. A recent study
eMarketer expects that just over half of total social media revenues in 2012 are coming in from outside the United States.from Jack Morton Worldwide illustrates that one way to engage potential customers in these new markets is through social media. Brazil, China, and India would consider social media a good source of word-of-mouth content, respectively at 31%, 27%, and 23%. The U.S is the lowest country on the survey at only 18%.
