Today is the birthday of two-time Pulitzer Prize winning columnist for the New York Times, Nick Kristof.
Sprinklr is joining forces with others who share our belief in a better world to celebrate it and raise awareness (and money) for those less fortunate.
As Sree Sreenivasan, Dean of Student Affairs and Digital Media Professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, highlighted in this post, Nick has dedicated his talent and passion to make a difference around on issues such as the genocide in Darfur and environmental awareness .
To honor that commitment and raise awareness of these worthy causes, Sree suggested that everyone “Kristofize” their social media profiles through changing your Facebook and Twitter profiles for the weekend.
On Twitter:
Add “of” to the end of our Twitter Profile names (not our handles or usernames)
On Facebook:
Write your name, Kristofized (i.e., add “of” to the end of your last name) on a piece of paper, a white board, or anything similar and take a picture.
Post the photo on Facebook and say something like: “In honor of Nick Kristof’s birthday, I’ve added an “of” to my name.” Learn about the Kristofize project at http://bit.ly/kristofize
At our core, Sprinklr believes that the arrival of the empowered, connected, and social individual is going to be a force for positive change in the world and we happily join with those who share that commitment.
Sprinklr has made contribution to CarePackage.org in Nick’s honor.
Happy Birthday, Nick! Keep up the good work.
